In collaboration with the Taishoff Center for Inclusive Higher Education, the University of Delaware, and the Self-Advocacy Association of New York State (SANYS), this project will create free digital resources promoting community living and participation among people with intellectual disabilities in the United States. Each toolkit will contain online materials available in accessible and usable ways. Toolkits include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/razubal.expressions.syr.edu\/communityliving4all\">COMMUNITY LIVING 4 ALL<\/a>\u2013Supporting individuals moving out of ALL institutions<\/li>\n<li><strong>SELF-ADVOCACY AND CHOICES 4 ALL<\/strong>\u2013Strategies for becoming a self-advocate and making person-centered choices<\/li>\n<li>COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION 4 ALL\u2013Building relationships, neighborhood and community<\/li>\n<li>LIFELONG LEARNING 4 ALL\u2013Continuing to learn after high school, through formal and informal learning opportunities in the community<\/li>\n<li>DIGITAL COMMUNITIES 4 ALL\u2013Ways to access and connect to online communities, including families and friends, using social media<\/li>\n<li>FAMILY 4 ALL\u2013How parents and families, including foster families, can get supports they need and choose how those supports work for them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SELF-ADVOCACY AND CHOICES 4 ALL Strategies for becoming a self-advocate\u00a0and making person-centered choices In this toolkit, we will share things like: What is Self-Advocacy?
